In this blog, we outline some of the website improvements we have planned for 2021 — in line with new technologies and digital trends — in order to make our site more effective in meeting the University’s key objectives.

1. SEO audit

An example use of the ‘promo row’ and ‘navigation box row’, side-by-side. ‘Navigation box rows’ use no images, so look cleaner and are quicker to load.

SEO and page speed improvements

More granular cloaking (hiding) of elements as they load.

This month we’ve performed a search engine optimisation (SEO) audit of the Keele University website.
